Purchasing & warehousing
By controlling both your inventory and your purchasing function, you can stock more accuratel in relation to the current product requirements. It gives you a lower risk, benefits your liquidity and increases the stock's turnover rate - all important prerequisites for your continued growth.
Nexus lets you choose from three different stock and inventory models that you set per product. The stock model you choose based on your need for insight, your desired precision as well as your resources to care for the warehouse.
Binary stock mode
In binary mode, Nexus distinguishes whether a product is in stock or out of stock. Either or. The feature is easy to get started with and is great for, for example, non-physical products. Since no specific numbers are required, the function is very simple to use. If you did not have inventory control before, you will experience great benefits even with this simple, binary mode.
Simple storage mode
With simple mode, you record a counted number of items and record the time of counting. Items are automatically allocated to incoming orders in the order in which the orders are received, and orders automatically write down the available quantity. When the invoice is issued, the physical inventory is written down, too. Adding new supply orders to the latest count is very simple.
Advanced stock mode
If you need, for example, location management, purchase orders, managing expectations and a very accurate tracking of your cost prices, use advanced mode. You will work with stock products which are the units you stock. Nexus keeps track of each item, rather than just a total number of items. Inventory products are associated with one or more catalog products. It also allows for bundles, replacement products and other smart features. Advanced mode is an option for Nexus.
